CERTAVP Modules

Modules available for assessment by the Royal Veterinary College

Modules are divided into three groups - A, B and C. To achieve the full CertAVP (60 credits) you must pass:

EITHER

• A-FAVP.1 Foundation of Advanced Veterinary Practice (10 credits) AND

• One B module (10 credits) AND

• Four C modules or a combination of B and C modules (40 credits) 

OR

• A-PKS.1 Professional Key Skills module (15 credits) AND

• B-CKS.0 Clinical Key Skills module (5 credits) AND

• One B module (10 credits) AND

• Three C modules or combination of B and C modules (30 credits)

Please note that until you are officially enrolled with the RVC, these module outlines are for reference only.  We do not anticipate major changes to any module however, it is possible that minor changes may have occurred by the time of your enrolment.  When you enrol we will confirm the module details are relevant to you.
