- Thoracocentesis

Wondering what drain is best for wounds? Worried about placing chest drains or how to do thoracocentesis safely? Looking for experience in placing feeding tubes? This course is for any small animal practitioner who would like to review the placement of tubes, drains and catheters without tying themselves in knots! It is a predominantly practical cadaver course, with introductory lectures to discuss each surgical procedure including information on case selection and complications. We will also discuss problem solving for surgical drains or tube management.
There will be lots of opportunities throughout the day to ask questions and practise techniques.
PLEASE NOTE: We have had to change the date of this course since the brochure was printed. It was due to be held on Tuesday 12th September and will now take place on Tuesday 28th November.
