About this course

This online course over six weeks covers more advanced aspects of equine radiology. Radiographic cases covering the most common, but also not so common lesions will be presented. A large number of radiographic cases will be presented for individual study, which will enhance the participants’ skill in examining, detecting and describing radiographic lesions. Improvement in radiographic interpretation will be assessed at appropriate intervals by use of online assessment exercises. Online group discussions will enable participants to share their opinions and experiences. Radiographic findings will be discussed in relation to their clinical significance with respect to the medical evidence available.

This course will be useful for veterinarians preparing for the RCVS CertAVP modules in large animal diagnostic imaging. Participants can earn up to 42CPD hours.

Due to tutor availability we have had to postpone this course until 2018.  There wil be three radiology online courses running throughout 2018 as follows:

Course 1: the equine front limb – Monday 15 January to Sunday 11th February

Course 2: the equine hindlimb – Monday 4th June to Sunday 1st July

Course 3: head, neck and back – Monday 5th November to Sunday 2nd December
