About this course

Learn about sheep

Spend a full packed day on a sheep farm at lambing time.

The Royal Veterinary College Farm has 4 places available per day to learn the art of successful sheep keeping.

Dates in Spring 2012: 
Friday 17th February, Friday 24th February or Friday 2nd March

The day will be informal, fun and educational and includes:-

  • Meet the vet
  • Learn to deliver lambs
  • Sheep health and husbandry
  • Cost saving tips
  • Breeds and suitability
  • Feed and nutrition
  • Breakfast, lunch and refreshments included
  • Meet at 7.00am for lambing shed rounds.
