The aim of this course is to facilitate the practitioner’s management of osteoarthritis by enhancing their understanding of the disease process and broadening their awareness of the variety and suitability of treatment modalities available. The course will consider the progress of osteoarthritis throughout the patient’s life in dogs and cats with a series of mini seminars interspersed with case based discussions. At the end of the day delegates should be able to build treatment plans for osteoarthritis with a better understanding of the individual patient’s problem and a wider selection of appropriate treatments.
Case scenarios that delegates have had to deal with including those with economic constraints will be welcomed as contributions. The course should be of interest to anyone treating osteoarthritis in dogs and cats on a regular basis.
