About this course
Do you dread having to anaesthetise a horse in your practice? Or would you like to improve your equine anaesthetic management?
This online course will cover some of the key areas of equine anaesthesia and is ideal for participants looking to improve their management of the anaesthetised horse. The course will cover pain assessment and analgesia, routine anaesthetic protocols, cardiovascular and respiratory support under anaesthesia and anaesthesia of problem or challenging cases (such as foals and donkeys).
The case discussions will improve participants’ reflective skills and encourage audit of their own practice which is a critical learning area for those who are enrolled in relevant CertAVP modules (Equine Anaesthesia and Analgesia (C-VA.2))
