About this course

Rabbits, ferrets and rodents are becoming increasingly popular pets in the UK and continuing advances in diagnosis and treatment of disease means clients’ expectations continue to increase. This course aims to help clinicians develop a logical, problem solving approach to exotic small mammal cases, and develop sound treatment plans.

This online course will run over four weeks. Learning material will be a mixture of two hour weekly webinars (which can be viewed live and/or as recorded versions throughout the course), online case assessment exercises, supplementary reading material and discussion forums involving the tutors. The course will be of interest to small animal practitioners with an exotic small mammal case load and would also be useful preparation for the RCVS CertAVP modules in zoological medicine. Participants can earn up to 16 CPD hours.
