Birds and reptiles may be relatively uncommon patients in practice, but when they present in critical condition, do you have the confidence and knowledge to care for them effectively?
Birds and reptiles are affected by a wide range of conditions, many of which are preventable through correct husbandry and early intervention. As the UK pet population of exotic species continues to grow, veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses are increasingly expected to assess, treat, and advise on the care of these patients. This webinar explores the most common and clinically relevant diseases seen in avian and reptile patients, providing delegates with the knowledge needed to recognise key issues and support optimal nursing care in practice.
Why do this course?
By the end of this webinar, you will feel more confident in nursing avian and reptile patients and in educating owners on essential husbandry and welfare considerations. You will gain practical insights to help improve patient outcomes, reduce the risk of preventable conditions, and enhance the standard of care provided to these increasingly common exotic patients.
Designed for qualified veterinary nurses or experienced student nurses wishing to update their knowledge and develop their confidence in this area.
