Course Information
- Imaging of the pancreas, liver and gall bladder
- Medical diagnosis and management of pancreatitis
- Medical diagnosis and management of cholangiohepatitis
- Feeding tube placement
- Performing surgical biopsies
- Performing ultrasound guided biopsy and gall bladder aspiration
This one day course is designed for practitioners who want to revise and improve their diagnosis and management of the most common and challenging hepatobiliary diseases in dogs and cats. Experts in the field of internal medicine, diagnostic imaging and surgery will outline how to perform feeding tube placement, surgical biopsies and ultrasound guided biopsy including discussion of possible complications and pitfalls of the these techniques.
The course will end with a case-based discussion of diagnosis and management of a selection of diseases of the liver, pancreas and biliary system.
