About this course

RVC Equine Practice vet, Jess Timmins, recently returned to the RVC following six months working in Australia through the Southern hemisphere equine breeding season. This talk will describe her experiences in her role including a typical day in the life of a stud vet, the common trials and tribulations, as well as the success stories which make all the hard work worthwhile for owners, the stud farms and the vets!

Samantha Castle, another experienced stud vet with the RVC Equine Practice, will join Jess to discuss what the 2023 stud season holds including new reproductive tools and techniques. This lecture is a must see for anyone considering breeding horses during the 2023 stud season.
