About this course

How to identify and effectively treat proteinuric patients with immune mediated glomerular disease.

This webinar will focus on the investigation and management of patients with proteinuria secondary to suspected immune mediated glomerular disease. We will discuss the diagnostic approach to the proteinuric patient, including when renal biopsy is indicated and when it is not, alongside reviewing immune mediated diseases of the glomerulus and how to optimise treatment once a diagnosis has been made. Case examples will be included to illustrate how this knowledge may be used in practice.

Why do this course?
This course is aimed at veterinary surgeons who would like to optimise their approach to the proteinuric patient with suspected immune mediated glomerular disease. Delegates should be confident at the end of this webinar to decide when a renal biopsy is indicated, be aware of the possible diagnoses resulting from a renal biopsy, and how to treat immune mediated glomerular disease if this is diagnosed.

This webinar is part of the Recorded Webinar Series: Advanced nephrology and urology and can be purchased as a complete recorded series at a discounted price and includes a webinar on complex consult calls that are faced in everyday practice.
