Course Information
Horses with muscle disease may present with a variety of symptoms including weakness, abnormal gaits and exercise intolerance. Damage to muscles can result from nutritional imbalances, toxins and genetic mutations – however, many diseases are complex and remain unexplained. In this lecture, Jenny Reed, Lecturer in Equine Medicine at RVC Equine, will give an overview of muscle disorders and discuss the evidence-based diagnostics available today.
