About this course

A variety of infectious and parasitic conditions have long been described in sheep where the skin is involved. While many such skin conditions are management related and usually resolve with limited investigation there are some situations where morbidity is high and concerns arise for health and welfare.

This course aims to help you be more aware of some of the causes of skin disease of sheep, how you may use appropriate diagnostic tests to establish a diagnosis and some discussion of management procedures.

This course is suitable for recently graduate vets or any vet with an interest in enhancing their understanding of ovine skin diseases.

Why do this course
It will help you to build awareness of some of the challenges when approaching skin cases, establish a plan of investigation and manage owner expectations.
