About this course

What’s new, what works, what’s the evidence?

Osteoarthritis in dogs is common, enduring and difficult to manage for both patient, owner and vet. Osteoarthritis is better considered in the same vein as diabetes or skin disease, which require regular monitoring and treatment adjustment over time. There are a huge range of options available for treatment, some with good, some not so good evidence; there are also misconceptions.

Why do this course?
This lecture aims to equip you with the background and the understanding to develop treatment plans and to discuss these with clients with confidence. In addition you will be able to develop a holistic ‘life-style’ plan for these patients. We will also consider how to determine if these strategies are working and how to get owners engaged in the process. Strategies for management beyond medication will also be discussed.

The webinar will run from 12.30pm to 1.30pm London time.
