- First things first – Dealing with emergencies involving the heart, brain and lungs

Emergencies happen regardless of the time of day. So even if you never have to do out of hours work, you will sometimes have to deal with emergency cases. The course is suitable for both veterinary surgeons in general practice and those with a special interest in (or fear of!) emergency medicine. It will also be useful CPD for veterinarians preparing for RCVS CertAVP C modules in emergency and critical care. The course will run over four weeks and learning material will be a mixture of weekly webinars, online case assessment exercises, supplementary reading material and discussion forums involving the tutors and veterinary colleagues from around the world. Participants can earn up to 16 CPD hours.
