- Maximising your exploratory laparotomy – avoid the “peak and shriek!”, organ biopsy, splenectomy, nephrectomy and cystotomy/cystectomy

This is a four week course that provides a solid foundation for surgeons who wish to review, consolidate and update their knowledge of surgical principles and techniques, including neutering, exploratory laparotomy and commonly performed abdominal surgeries. It would also be suitable CPD for the RCVS CertAVP candidates preparing case reports for the B module in small animal practice (B-SAP.1).
The course will consist of four two hour weekly webinars (which can be viewed live and/or as recorded versions throughout the course), supplemented by reference material, videos, quizzes and case scenarios as well as a Q&A discussion forum with the tutors. Participants can earn up to 16 CPD hours.
