About this course

While excellent clinical knowledge is certainly necessary to be a good veterinary practitioner, it is not on its own sufficient to become a world class practitioner.  A world class veterinary practitioner is someone who combines the art, the science and the commerce of veterinary practice to consistently deliver 4 outcomes; clinical resolution, client satisfaction, commercial sustainability and team harmony’n’happiness. They are someone who can apply the science of veterinary amidst the unpredictability of real world contexts.

In much the same way as psychology is used to help Olympic athletes achieve excellence, this course will discuss how the psychology of confidence, achievement and success has been specifically applied to veterinary practice.  As well as webinars and discussion forums it will also include online self assessment tools for measuring your own emotional intelligence and other psychological attributes.

Live webinars will take place each week on Tuesdays, 1pm to 3pm (registration from 12.30pm) during the course. Recorded versions of each webinar will be made available for viewing throughout the course.
