Unsure about whether to recommend stem cell or regenerative therapies for your patients? Are you unclear about how these treatments are being used and how they work?

There are many misconceptions about regenerative medicine and stem cell therapy. The main application in small animals to date has been for musculoskeletal conditions and for osteoarthritis. There is evidence that they have a beneficial effect, although it is not clear how.

This lecture will look at the application and evidence of this type of treatment and consider whether the issues and opportunities.
