About this course

This very practical, hands on course is aimed at the general practitioner who is ready to tackle the surgical aspects of common ophthalmic problems that can be dealt with in general practice. The course is composed of a set of brief presentations, each of which is followed by a practical performed on cadavers. The hands-on practical is aimed at increasing familiarity with instruments, patient positioning, the role of magnification in ophthalmic surgery and basic ophthalmic surgical skills.
