Shake it off - When headshaking isn't just attitude
 
Join Mike Hewetson, Associate Professor in Equine Medicine to discuss equine headshaking - Is it pain, neurological, allergies or plain old attitude?

  • Learn about the myriad of causes of headshaking and why it is such a difficult condition to treat
  • Gain an understanding of the available diagnostic procedures and how we use them to work up your horse
  • Hear about how we choose the most appropriate treatment option
  • Explore the effectiveness of recently investigated and upcoming treatments including whether electroacupuncture might be right for your horse

Registration commences at 18:30 where refreshments will be available. Lecture time 19:00 - 21:00. Late-comers may be refused entry.

Delegates attending the lecture will get access to the recorded version. You will be emailed when it is available to view and will have two weeks to watch the webinar from date emailed.

Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment. Tickets must be purchased in advance and before midday on the day. Please note we cannot accept payment at the door. Delegates will be registered on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the cost of administration no refunds can be given.
