Do you want to further enhance your clinical ability in fracture management by tackling some of the more complex fractures. This highly practical hands on course will give you the confidence to take the next step.
This lecture and hands-on practical course will assist veterinarians in dealing with more complicated fractures and applying the principles of internal fixation with plates and screws. The course will focus on the more common fractures presentations, including the management of non-reconstructible fractures and principles of articular fracture repair. Preoperative planning and common complications will be discussed. The course has a large proportion of time in the practical lab, including training on plastic bones models.
Why do this course?
The day is targeted for the veterinary surgeon will experience of basic fracture management looking to further their skills in taking some of the more complex challenges that we will face as orthopaedic surgeons.
