Problems arising from the tendon sheaths and bursae are common causes of lameness in horses. Professor Roger Smith will describe the location and anatomy of the digital, carpal and tarsal sheaths and will explore what can go wrong, including manica flexoria and annular ligament injuries.

The lecture will also cover the common abnormalities of the navicular bursa, as well as the calcaneal and bicipital bursae.
