This is the first of a two-part webinar series on equine gastric ulcer syndrome (EGUS). In this webinar, we will review the prevalence, aetiopathogenesis, clinical signs, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of equine squamous gastric disease (ESGD). The emphasis is on adult horses, but the basic principles also apply to foals.
Why do this course?
The webinar is aimed at equine vets who manage horses with gastric ulcers. The aim is to refresh some of the fundamentals that you may have forgotten, and to explore recent developments that might be of relevance to how you manage these cases in practice.
Part 2: Equine gastric ulcer conundrums: Glandular gastric disease
