About this course

This series of webinars will explore a range of behavioural medicine topics.

The importance of a cat friendly approach to veterinary visits will be discussed along with the value of offering appropriate advice to caregivers as to how they can optimise the environment at home in order to improve the health and welfare of their feline friends. The impact of ageing on feline behaviour and the role of the veterinary practice in improving early identification of feline cognitive dysfunction will be considered. The series will also cover the importance of identifying behavioural concerns within the general veterinary practice context, the role of behavioural change in the identification of chronic pain and approaches to managing separation related behavioural concerns in canine patients.
