You’re an echo beginner, and would like a few more tips on how to obtain the views? You can get the echo views, but they don’t look like the images in the books?

Many veterinarians are keen to develop their knowledge and skills in echocardiography as it is such a useful diagnostic tool in general practice. These practical scanning days will be an opportunity for veterinarians to build on their ultrasonography skills by spending the day scanning under the expert guidance of diplomates in Cardiology. The day will be entirely devoted to scanning – lectures and course notes will be limited to a brief overview for each type of scanning and participants will be expected to have attended a CPD course (from any suitable CPD provider, not just the RVC) previously where the basics of ultrasound theory and echocardiography were discussed and techniques demonstrated.

You may also be interested in attending the companion course: Webinar Plus: Integrating echocardiography into your clinical practice.

Why do this course?
This is an opportunity to gain tips on all aspects of your echocardiographic imaging from experts, whether you have a little or a lot of experience.
